Program note

A long band of ornamental forms passes by continuously. The information is projected onto the keyboard of a piano and interpreted as a sequence of sounds. However, only sounds within a narrow range get through to us. The thus fragmented originally perfectly regular process forms a completely new, unexpected structure of musical time.
