Program note

In digital representation, music appears like under a microscope. What is a musical event here, what is its shape, and what are its dimensions? How do things interrelate? To explore these questions, I used a recording of one of my piano pieces from the 1990ies. The material was analyzed, dissected and radically rearranged.
